Bye Bye Sarah

So, as much of the world has come to find out Sarah Palin has resigned as governor of Alaska.

I was on my way out the door to enjoy a nice cold beer on the beach on such a beautiful 4th of July day when I saw the story on the news. I was shocked and instantly suspicious.

Why would she resign in such a hurry (by the end of the month) when she still has 18 months left in her first term as governor?

Why did she wait until a holiday weekend to make the announcement? Perhaps, she was hoping to catch the media off guard? I think so.

Is there some juciy secret ready to be leaked that would have her ousted as governor anyway so she wanted to stay ahead of the game? Maybe.

Whatever the reason I think we all know that this isn't the last of Ms. Sarah. Oh what will she - from the outside in - do next?
